2023 ktm 250 xcf review

The KTM XC-F is a pretty hard edged cross country bike that could even do some time on an MX track. It's setup for aggressive riding. The motor is straight out of the MX bike although the gear box is a semi close ratio 6 speed. The motor is not going to like to lug down low. The WR250F is more of a softer woods bike.

It will definitely vibrate less. It should still have a heavy crank and flywheel compared to XC-F. KTM has promised this bike to be less restrictive than XCF-Ws of the past, as it's supposed to be a "racer," not just a trail bike. Expect EXC-F to be $1k-$2k more just because it's plateable where XCF-W is not.
