Last time I was up we found some BLM land to the NE a bit (45 min) but when we drove up there the private citizens of the houses next to the road actually locked off the entrance on the road. I talked to a local and he said they do that to prevent people from going to shoot., Yolo County offers a for-fee RV campground near the dam.
