Freshman scholarships

Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Awards are for undergraduate study and may be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, and board.

Freshman scholarships. To qualify for the Lebrecht Hites Family Transfer Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria: 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale and maintain a 2.75 GPA or higher the first semester at the transfer institution and 3.0 GPA or higher in all subsequent semesters. Complete 60 hours at Collin College by the end of June.

Competitive scholarships. Our competitive scholarships for incoming freshmen are awarded based on a variety of factors, including academic success, community engagement, leadership, enhancing diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion, and more.
