Hi. I have a Maytag top loader mvwp576kw1. When the machine is on the wash cycle it makes a terrible grinding noise. But only on the wash cycle. When it gets to rinse and spin there is no noise. Only on the wash cycle when the agitator is being used. I moved the agitator by hand after the wash cycle and it is moving well.
