Having discovered another 2 solenoids on the back of the engine and 2 oil pressure switches nearby there also I deduced that it is the oil pressure switch that causes the code. A friend is a mechanic that works on Subarus and he had a customer come in after we were having this discussion and the Outback had a P0026 code also.
